Zelma “Gloria” Bean

Zelma Gloria Bean was born to J.C. Foster and Catherine Arline Foster on July 21, 1936 in HIllister, Texas. She attended school at Kirbyville High School. Gloria was united in marriage to Steve D. Bean on February 12, 1954. They were lifelong     residents of Kirbyville, Texas where they raised a daughter Adriene Glenette Bean. Gloria spent her last days in Beaumont, Texas with her family. She passed from this life on November 18, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Gloria was a devoted and active member of           Kirbyville Church of Christ for many years. She worked in domestic service and retired from the    Kirbyville Church of Christ after decades of service. She was a loving and devoted wife,  mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many people in community through the years.

Gloria is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Steve D. Bean, parents J.C. Foster and       Catherine Arline Foster, two sisters DeLois Spears and Betty Barlow.

Gloria has left to cherish her one daughter Adriene Bean Reliford (Erskine) of Beaumont, Texas; two granddaughters Kendra Reliford of Webster, Texas and Alexis Reliford of Beaumont, Texas; and a grandson Byron Bean of Beaumont, Texas. A special sister-in-law Mary “Apple” Bean. A Goddaughter Sharron Parker, Mellownees Wright (Charles) and Sharika Bean; and one special nephew Garry Bean. She also leaves behind a host of other family and friends to cherish her memory.
