Wendell E. Hubert Jr. 51, of Dayton, TX; departed this life on May 3, 2021.

Services will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Cornerstone Church 1693 Highway 146 Bypass, Liberty, TX. Visitation will begin at 9AM until Funeral at 11AM. Interment will be held in Palms Cemetery Dayton, TX.

Wendell Jr. was born in Liberty, Texas on September 25, 1969. Wendell was the first child of Wendell SR. and Sharon Hubert. He accepted Christ at the age of eight years old and was baptized at the Lily of the Valley Baptist Church by Rev. Felton Thomas. Wendell received his GED; however, he was a part of the Crosby High School Class of 1988. He was employed as security for Outlaw Jacks in Liberty, Texas.

Wendell was preceded in his homegoing by his great grandparents: Mr. Bennie and Mrs. Lucinda Edwards, grandparents: Mr. Henry and Mrs. Melvina Cook, Mr. Tommy Hubert and Mrs. Lillian Jones. Uncles: Mr. James L. Cook, Mr. Allen H. Cook, Mr. Clarence McAllister Sr, Mr. Jeffery Hubert. Great Aunt/Godmother: Mrs. Vada Coward.

Wendell is survived by his parents Wendell Hubert SR. and Sharon J. Hubert of Dayton, TX; One sister Shannon Hubert-Collins (Mark) of Dayton, TX; Three nieces: Tayriel Brooks, Tori Brooks, and Maci Collins.  children: Chelsea Williams (Loretha), Everette Robinson (Gilsia), Lanisha Laviene of Houston, TX, Shametria Curry of Baytown, TX, and Wendell E. Hubert III of Liberty, TX. Four grandchildren: Mackenzie, Emmanuel, Alaisa, and Ariane. Great Uncle/Godfather Mr. Delmar L. Coward Sr. One Godbrother: Rev. Delmar L. Coward JR (Charlotte). and Two Godsisters:, Dr. Katherine R. Sprott and Lisa Coward. And a Host of Aunts, Uncles, Church family, and a community of friends that will miss him dearly.
