Services are Saturday, Jul. 16, 2022, at First Baptist Church 625 2nd St. Silsbee, TX. Visitation will begin at 9AM until Funeral at 11AM. Interment will be in Kirby Cemetery Silsbee.

Prairie View A&M athlete in football and baseball Graduated BA Sociology 1965. Employment: Santa Fe Railroad Company, retired after 37 years

Religious Background:

First Missionary Baptist Church, he accepted Christ at a young age under the leadership of the Late Rev. G. B. Goldman.

Deacon Board Chair, Senior Choir Member, Brotherhood Department.

Community Service/Other Accolades:

At 62 took on an opportunity to serve the community.

Survivors: Wife: Mrs. Brenda Joyce Land. Children: Walter JR., Terry, Aaron, Randy (Shawanda), Alfrederic, Landiontrae (Karrington), Walon, Raquenia and Bryant. Sister: Paulette Land, (9) Grandchildren: 2Great Great Grandchildren. (3) Brothers-In-Law, (4) Sisters-In-Law, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
