Shirley worked at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital for 15 years and later joined Pro Janitorial Services for 15 years until she retired to care for her mother.

Shirley was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a family person and loved everyone.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Marjorie Rubin and
Clifton Payne Sr., her daughter Shantesse Johnson, 2 brothers, Ivory Wayne Rubin and Clifton Payne Jr.

She leaves to cherish and celebrate her memories: Daughter, Shantell Johnson of Beaumont, TX 5 brothers, Andrus Rubin of New Orleans, LA, Dennis Rubin (Jozette) of Orange, TX, Murphy Payne (Sherri), Coy Payne (Lynn) both of
