Sherrie Patricia Fontenot

Sherrie Patricia Fontenot was born June 29, 1944 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Morris and Argirtha Mizer. Sherrie moved to Beaumont, Texas at an early age in 1957. she meet Christ at a early age ang was a member of Starlight Missionary Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Beaumont Charlton-Pollard(Bulldogs) Class of 1962.
Sherrie meet and married Herman Fontenot, Sr. in 1963 and to this union three kids were born (Herman, Pam, and Kirvis).
Sherrie moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1987 and started working for Cuyahoga County for Mental Retardation and Retired after 21 years of service. She moved back to Beaumont, Texas in 2010 to take care of her mother until her death in 2012.
Sherrie loved going to Concerts and her love for Maze featuring Frankie Beverly was to top of all of the many concerts she attended. Always ready for a good time with family and friends just sitting around laughing and talking. Our mother really enjoy her life to the fullest with no regrets.
Sherrie was preceded in death by her Parents: Morris and Argirtha Mizer; Grandparents: Will and Rebecca Galightly; Aunt: Delphina.
Left to cherish her memories, Husband: Herman Fontenot, Sr.; Sons: Herman Fontenot, Jr. and Kirris Fontenot(Melissa); Daughter: Pamela Fontenot (Anthony); Grandchildren: Mike, Blair, Antman, Taylor and Josshua; Great Grandchildren: Raiden, Zoey, Thabi andhost of relatives and friends.
