Rock Tracy Jones, affectionately known as Sue-Lee Bell of Franklin, La. passed Jun. 26, 2021.
Services will be held Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Special Providence Baptist Church 814 Martin Luther King Jr St. Baldwin LA. Visitation will begin at 9AM until Funeral at 11AM. Interment will be in Special Providence Baptist Church Cemetery Baldwin LA.
Rock was born on December 9th, 1955 to the late William Joe Proctor and Rebecca Richard Proctor. Rock Jones began her Christian life early at Saint Joseph Baptist Church under Rev. A. Wiggins. She went to Franklin Senior High School and was 1973 graduate. Through the years that followed, she attended Special Providence Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor W.J. Otis and Pastor Samuel Wise. Rock met the love of her life in 1969 John Sr. and married him June 23rd 1971. They had one son together, John Jr. Rock had God given skills as a master chef. She made cakes, pies, candy and assortment of other foods. Eventually she went on to pass her skills and delicious recipes down to her son, John Jr. She was always happy and smiling to all that encountered her. She loved spending time her siblings and family was very important to her. Rock was tragically taken away from us but God has received his earthly angel that he called to heaven.
Rock was preceded in death by her husband: John Allen Jones Sr., parents: William Joe Proctor Sr and Rebecca Richard Proctor, her maternal grandparents: William Richard Sr and Almeta Richard, her paternal grandparents Walter T. Proctor and Nancy Francis Proctor, brothers: William Joe Proctor Jr, Darryl Proctor, Richard Eric Proctor and Andre Wale Proctor. Sisters: Sheila Faye Proctor, Betty Jo Proctor Joe, and Lavoris Regina Proctor. One Niece: Faith Rebecca Proctor, Two nephews: Glen Dale Nora II and William Rochester Druilhet Jr.
She leaves to mourn her son: John Allen Jones Jr., loving sisters: Jennifer P. Smith of Los Angeles, Ca., Frankie Mae Druilhet (Rev William Sr.) of Lafayette, La. Nancy Almeta Hawk (Timothy) of Baton Rouge, La; Shebaniah K, Morris (Batiste) of Broussard, La. Diane Broussard of Franklin, La. Brothers: Deacon Michael L. Proctor Sr. (Cheryl) of Gautier, MS., Chris Ernest Proctor of Vancouver, WA., Stephen Ross Proctor of Jeanerette, La, Jeremiah Proctor of Spokane, WA., Jacobia N. Proctor of Jeanerette, La, and Johnerson Fritzgerald Proctor of Ivanhoe, TX. A loving and supportive host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephew, Cousins, Extended Family and Friends.
