Prator “Bud” Robinson

Prator “Bud” Robinson, 87 of Beaumont (Cheek), Texas, passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021.

Services will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Proctor’s Mortuary 3522 Washington Blvd. Beaumont, Texas. Public Viewing will begin at 10am until 11:30AM. A Private Funeral Service will be held at 12noon. His final resting place will be in Kirby Cemetery, Silsbee, Texas.

Prator “Bud” Robinson, the son of the late Willie (Robinson) Roberson and Luguster Wise was born on January 2, 1934 in DeBerry, Texas.

He attended school in DeBerry, Texas and at the age of Eighteen years old moved with his Aunts and Cousins to Silsbee, Texas.

He worked and retired from Apache Products, Inc. after 40 years of service.

Prator was baptized at an early age; he United with New Hope COGIG under the leadership of the late Pastor D.C. Elam, in Silsbee, Texas and was a faithful member until he moved to Beaumont (Cheek), Texas and later became a member of Cathedral Of Faith Baptist Church.

His favorite hobbies were traveling with family, reading, watching TV (Matlock, Texas Walker Ranger, In The Heat of the Nite, Baseball) and Perry Mason Movies.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sister, Wife: Patricia Anne (Tyler) Robinson and the Mother of his Children, Ella Van Robinson) Veal.
