Milton Allen Legette 1955 – 2020

Milton Allen Legette of Chester, Pennsylvania

October 9, 1955 – April 8, 2020

On October 9th, 1955 in Chester. Pennsylvania, Milton Allen Legette was born to Sidney Legette and Patricia Fore. He was the second     oldest of his siblings.

Milton accepted Christ at an early age under the guiding hands of his      parents. He attended Marion public schools and in spring of 1973 graduated from Marion High School. From high school he joined the United States   Army where served from 1974 to 1978. In 1978 upon his honorable discharge he relocated to Houston, TX. Once settled in    Houston, he began his life long career with the United States Postal Service and retired after 27 years. In June 2003 he married, Constance Leaks.

While serving in the United States Army and as a postal worker he met many friends that became family. Well known for his loving and welcoming personality, he never met a stranger. Guaranteed to bring joy to any        situation, you could always find him at Bid Whist table or leading the latest line dance.

With a reputation of selfless love and continued acts of kindness, he was always putting others before himself. With his generous acts of kindness and unconditional love he showed us all how blessing others, allows GOD to bless you.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Constance, father, Sidney, brothers, Joe-Nathan, Samuel “Duck”, Mckevier “Danny”, and Anthony.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: Mother (Patricia Legette), one son (Terrell Malone) and step-children (Tara Wilson (Louis) and Jerrod Malone), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two brothers (Sidney “Calvin”, Clifton (Jacqueline)), two sisters (Patty (Peter), Darlene) and a host of family and friends.
