Michael Wayne Childress, 43, passed July 16, 2020.

A public viewing will be held from 6PM-9PM, Friday, July 31, 2020 at Proctor’s Mortuary 2221 Hwy 90 Liberty, TX. Funeral Services will be PRIVATE.

Michael was born December 12, 1976 to Holly Amanda Brooks and Nathaniel Arnett Blake Sr, in Liberty, Texas.

Michael attended Hull-Daisetta School District and graduated from Windham School District with certifications. He was a certificated welder and a mechanic and worked numerous jobs using his skills.

Michael enjoyed spending time with those that loved him most, his family, at gatherings and holidays. He loved fishing and hunting and just hanging out with family helping mentor the little ones in the family.

Michael was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Thurman Blake, Lena Mae, and George Childress; Sisters: Nikia Hector and Zenoba Lewis.

Michael leaves to cherish his memories, Parents: Holly Brooks and Nathaniel Blake Sr.; Grandmother: Doris Blake; Sisters Cynthia, Clarissa, Nathanielle, Vikkesha. Brothers Thurman, Nathaniel (Bubba), Nathaniel (Buck), and a host of uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss him greatly.
