Melanie Rochelle Carry 34, of Beaumont, TX; passed Oct. 28, 2020.

Services will be Nov. 07, 2020 at Proctor’s Mortuary 3522 Washington Bvld. Beaumont, TX. Visitation will begin at 12 noon until funeral at 1PM. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery Beaumont TX.

Melanie was born in Galveston, TX to the parents of Melvin Holt and Sophia Carry on February 24, 1986. Melanie was raised in Beaumont, TX where she attended and graduated from Ozen Magnet High School. Her Parents had the help of rearing and raising her by her Great- Aunt, Effie Hynes (Aunt Shug) who made sure Melanie knew the Lord. She attended Bethel Missionary Baptist from childhood into adulthood.

Melanie was so loving, that everyone she came across fell in love with her! She was kind and would give her last to make sure everyone else had what they needed. She also was the life of the party and loved to have a good time with her family and friends. Melanie had a great love for life and most importantly her family… there was literally nothing she would not do for them. Her greatest joy was spending time with her three Children: Javonne, Dyrriann’a, Shai and she tremendously missed her Angel Child, Diamond. Melanie will be missed beyond reason by all of those who were fortunate enough to feel her love that she so effortlessly gave.

Melanie, you have truly left your footprints on all of our hearts and we will continue to honor your legacy throughout this journey called life.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Diamond Hope.

She leaves the following to cherish her memories: Parents: Melvin (Shannon) Holt and Sophia (Mr. Ray) Carry; her late daughter: Diamond Hope, Son: Javonne Dejean, Daughters: Dyrriann’a Carry, Shai Carry. Siblings: Darrelle Carry, James Carry, Whittney Carry, Samantha Carry, Darius Holt, Dashia Holt, Dakota Holt, and Dontae Grant and all of Beaumont, Texas. The Matriarch of Her life, whom she loved dearly: Effie Hynes (Aunt Shug), Lola Holt, Brenda Holt, Patricia Holt, Debbie Holt and Late Aunt Loucile Holt, StormyWeather Cynthia Frazier, Angie Lacey; Late Uncle Julis Holt and Uncle Glen Holt. She had three surviving Uncles.

Melanie experienced the last few years of her life’s journey with special friend and partner: Denecia Zetar, whom she loved dearly.
