Marilyn Mitchell

February 25, 1956 – December 16, 2021

Marilyn Renay Phillips, A force to be reckoned with, was born on February 25, 1956, to Annie Mae Williams in Davilla, Tx.
She was raised by her grandparents Charlie & Agnes Williams in Davilla, Tx. She devoted her life to the Church of Christ at early age.

Later in life she became a member of St. Miles Baptist church. She attended school in Bartlett, Tx where she graduated in 1974.
She lived in Temple, Tx for several years as a stay at home mother. In 1998 she moved to Liberty, Tx to be closer to her family.
She attended San Jacinto Central College to study in Dietary Management and received her degree in 2004.
She loved to cook, watch TV westerns and spend time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Donerfan E. Roberson (brother), Khassity N. Mitchell (granddaughter),
Amelia G. Caldwell (Great Granddaughter) and her Grandparents Charlie & Agnes Williams, And Special Uncle Elbert Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories her Fiancée Carl Williams of 11 years, her strong will and determination will carry on through her Six Children:
Latrina (Nigel) Crawford of Rockdale, Janie (Elodgie) Davis of Baytown, TX., Latasha Moore of Liberty,TX.,
Yolanda (Chris) Ledet of Baytown,TX., Jeremy (Christy) Mayes from Ames and Marion “Bree” Mayes of Dayton, TX.,

Twenty-Seven Grandchildren…Fifteen Great Grandchildren: Siblings: Alice (Carl) Graves, Janice McBride, Vernell Roberson (Renarda),
Theresa Dugat, Clerissa (Darren) Edwards, Tauna (Roland) Willis an a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and cousins.
