Letha Mae Eaglin of Beaumont, Texas

March 15, 1933 – November 12, 2020

Letha Mae Eaglin 87, of Beaumont, TX; transitioned to be with the Lord on Nov. 13, 2020.

Services will be Nov. 21, 2020 at Universal Church of the Living God 690 Irma St, Beaumont, TX. Visitation will begin at 10AM until funeral at 11AM. Interment will be in Anthony Cemetery Beaumont, TX.

Letha Mae was born in Cheek, TX; on March 15,1933 to the union of Fred and Maper Miles.

She was a woman of Great Spirit and lived as a devoted sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Her roles in life were plenty, her challenges were great, but she took on every situation with grace and a gentleness only granted by God himself.

Letha found and accepted Christ at a young age. She was baptized at Pleasant Green Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Theo Haynes. She later continued her walk with Christ at Universal Church Of The Living God under pastor Lloyd W. Austin Jr.

She received her rest and stepped into eternal life on Friday, November 13,2020.

She preceded in death after her parents, Fred and Maper Miles; her husband, Joseph Eaglin; Her sons, Freddy and George Lyons Jr.; her sister Cassie Gains and brother Lloyd Miles.

Her legacy will live in through her surviving children: Georgia Mae Jones ( Mark);Billy Ray Lyons; Linda Austin (Floyd Sr.),Gracie Carmon (Paul), and Susan Lyons-Toran. Siblings: Cora Lee Coleman, Joann Wilson and Arthur Ray Miles (Sonja). The love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends will live on forever. Her Family will forever cherish her memories and will keep her in our heart forever.
