Laura Marie Edwards 67 of Ames, TX; departed this life on Thursday, August 26, 2021.

A Gathering of Family and friends will be held Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 5-9PM at St. Miles Missionary Baptist Church 120 Hwy 90 Ames, TX.

A Graveside Memorial will be held 10AM, Friday, September 3, 2021, at Wells Cemetery 705 Minglewood Rd. Liberty, Texas. Rev. Dwight A. Pruitt will be officiating.

Laura was born on Thursday, April 12,1954. She was a faithful member of St. Miles Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by parents: Laurice Mitchell and William Vallery, husband: Frank Neal Edwards, Sr, and brother Willie Love Wilson.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons: Detroit Anthony Vallery (Tekeshia), Frank Neal Edwards, Jr (Toccara) siblings: Jackie David, Sarah White (John) and Leonard Wilson, Sr. (Martha), 7- grandchildren, 5- great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, church family, other relatives, and friends all of whom will hold their memories of her close to their heart.
