LARRY EUGENE LONG, SR. of Beaumont, Texas

Larry Eugene Long, Sr. was born on August 30, 1949 in Beaumont, Texas to the late James Long, Sr. and Maxine Jones Long.

He attended and graduated from Charlton Pollard High School. Later he received his certification in Combination Welding. He worked as a welder until 2013.

Larry was a faithful member of Christ Gospel Church and later became an assistant pastor under the leadership of John Cassimere.

He was known as a devout Christian and loving father.

Larry was proceeded in death by his parents: James and Maxine Long; his siblings: Beatrice Long and Samson Frank; and his son: Larry Long, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories; his brothers: James Long, Jr. (Paulette) of Coram, New York, Fred Long, Sr. (Joetta) of Beaumont, Texas and Jim Holland III (Felicia) of Grand Prairie, Texas; his sisters: Victoria Long and Dovie Eubanks of Beaumont, Texas; his step-sons: Marlon Foots and Michael Anderson of Port Author, Texas; his step-daughter April Anderson of Port Author, Texas; god-sister: Carolyn Owens of Beaumont, Texas; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
