Katherine “Gran Gran” Williams, 71 of Baytown, TX; passed June 06, 2021.

Services will be held Harvest Time Deliverance Church 1715 Market St, Baytown, TX 77520. Visitation will begin at 9AM until Funeral at 10AM. Interment will be in Earthman Memory Gardens 8624 Garth Rd, Baytown, TX.

Katherine was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to George and Rosalie Williams and Lorenzo Johnson on January 3, 1950. Katherine was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. Kermit Simmons, Sr. Of New Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Houma, LA and baptized again on February 25, 2001, by Bishop Hosea Lane of Harvest Time Church of Deliverance where she has been a faithful member and Church Mother for over 20 years.

She attended Southdown High School in Houma; LA. Katherine spent her career as Medical Records Coordinator for 40 years. Working at Chabert Medical Center until 1994 when she moved to Baytown Texas and started her job at Jacinto Medical Group until her retirement in 2017. Being the active woman, mother, grandmother and great grandmother that she was retirement was not enough for her. She returned to the workforce enjoying her job and her school kids as a Bus Monitor for Goose Creek Independent School District in 2019.

 Cherishing her in memories is her daughters, Kathalene (Ephraim) Boyd, Samaria Travis, La’Trice (Michael) Jno-Finn, Gyni Burns, and Rosa Burns, her bonus daughter, Sharon Johnson. Eighteen grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. One sister, Geraldine Harmon. One brother, Melvin Johnson, Jr. And host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosalie Williams and Lorenzo Johnson. Four sisters, Shirley Jones Williams, Millie Williams Celestine, Linda Williams, and Pamela Williams. Four brothers, George Williams, Donald and Ronald Williams, and John Freeman Williams. Two great grandchildren, Tianna Burns-Bush and Tyrell Burns.
