A Graveside Services will be held 1PM, Saturday, October 16, 2021, in Forest Lawn Cemetery 8601 Almeda Genoa Road Houston, Texas.
Judith Ann McLaughlin (Judy) was born November 13, 1954, in Galveston, Texas to the late Vernon and Vesteria McLaughlin. Her parents moved to Houston, Texas where she grew up in the Scott Terrace section of town. She was a proud graduate of Jack Yates High school.
Judy embraced her career at Ranger Insurance as an underwriter for 29 years and only retired after battling illnesses.
Judy never had children of her own but loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. They lovingly referred to her as “Ju Ju”.
Judy never met a stranger. She was always the life of the party and loved to a fault. She gave of herself unconditionally and family was everything to her. If she was attending an event, you knew when she arrived as her booming voice was detected before she entered the room. She enjoyed nothing more than watching sports whether it was the Houston Astros, Houston Rockets or Dallas Cowboys.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Vesteria McLaughlin, her brother, Ronnie J. McLaughlin and sister, Cherri A. Brown.
She leaves to mourn four sisters, Vernell Sauls, Jacquelyn McLaughin, Sherri Owens (Edward) and Pamela Littles (Stephen); Five Nieces, LaShun Sauls, Paula (P.) McLaughlin, Tiffany McLaughin, Cristian Chatman and Danielle Demas; Five Nephews, Alvin Sauls, III, Quenton Owens, Douglas Demas, Devan Demas and Matthew Brown; Eight Great Nieces, Vanessa Richards, Cendalle Taulton, Destini Owens, Aubree Jenkins, Londyn Chatman, Alyssa Sauls, Brielle Chatman and Zoë Jenkins; Two Great Nephews, Cory Taulton and Rafael Demas; and one Great Great Niece, Ambrielle Richards.
