Joseph “Cocomo” Wilson

On May 27, 1946, Joseph Wilson was born in Morgan City, Louisiana to the late Edward Pete and Alberta Wilson. He was the 7th of 11 siblings.

He began his career at Borden’s Milk Company and worked faithfully for approximately 30 years as a driver. Joseph loved going fishing and living out in the country. Most of all he loved his family and the Lord. He would always speak from the book of Proverbs.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Lloyd Wilson, and Lewis Wilson; his sister, Rosemary Grey.
Joseph is survived by his brothers Clarence Wilson, John Wilson and his sisters Marie Wilson, Rebecca Wilson, Anita Watson, Sarah Hebert and Loretta Watson.

He is also survived by his children, Sherrill L. Bellamy of Detroit, Joseph Ardoin (Julie), Tonya Pouncy (Christopher), Rosette Cole (Timothy), Joseph Wilson Jr. (Theresa), Jordy Wilson, John Wilson all of Beaumont, Texas. Also left to cherish his memories are 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
