Joseph Alvin Chargois “Joe” was born on March 29, 1956 to Ida and Alvin Chargois Jr. in Liberty, TX. He accepted Christ at an early age at Our Mother Mercy Catholic Church in Ames, TX. He attended Liberty High School where he was in football, track and boyscott. He graduated from Liberty High School in 1975 then he went into the US Navy in 1977 then he went to California and united with Robin J Howard and they were married on 11-14-1981 then had a daughter in 1982 name JoDawn Chargois and a 2nd daughter JoVon Chargois in 1987 They went their separate ways in 2015. Later in life he fell in love with Charlotte Eagleton They lived a happy and long life in Baytown TX until her death in 2010. Joe love to be outside fishing, and camping until he became ill and then he moved with his baby sister until God called him home. Joseph Alvin preceded in death by his father Alvin Chargois Jr. and both paternal grandparents. Joseph leaves to cherish his memories of his mother Ida Speights, his daughters JoDawn and JoVon Chargois and granddaughter Kenia Chargois. His brothers Marshall and Walter Chargois, half-brother Zachary Mayes and two sisters Zelda and Tamey Chargois. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
