John Edward Norman

John was born in Beaumont, Texas on March 17, 1955 to Elnora Jules-Norman-Robinson and Roosevelt Norman Sr.

 

John grew up in The Pear Orchard neighborhood Of Beaumont, Texas. John attended Hebert high school where he participated in football. John Graduated from Hebert High School in the year of 1973. John was known for his very enthusiastic spirit. Growing up John and his brothers better known as “The Norman Boys” learned and perfected their craft in carpentry work and roofing. John continued this work all throughout his adult life as well. John was called home on April 28, 2021 at his family’s Homestead in Beaumont Texas.

 

John was preceded in death by his parents Elnora Jules-Norman-Robinson, Roosevelt Norman Sr, his step father James Robinson, His brother Murray Norman and His sister Florence Norman.

 

John leaves behind his children Yolanda Viney, Terell Norman and Melaney Norman-Smith(George) all of Dallas, Texas. His grandchildren Nyla Viney, Damien Martinez, and Kobie Norman all of Dallas, Texas; he leaves behind a great friend and the mother of his children Marie Viney of Dallas Texas. John also leaves behind his siblings Roosevelt Norman Jr (Lori), Mary Norman-Davis-Mitchell(Larry), and Lawerence Norman all of Beaumont Texas and Shelia Lightfoot-Plumbar(Sylvester) of Houston Texas. John also leaves behind an aunt, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
