Joe Ray Lyons 49, of Houston passed Aug. 18, 2021 at his residence.
A Memorial Service will be held 11AM, Friday, August 27, 2021, at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church 9318 Homestead Drive Houston, Texas 77016.
Joe Ray was born April 19, 1972, to Ina Ray Bob, and the late Rev. Joseph Bob.
He received his education in Beaumont Independent School District where he graduated from West Brook High School. He also graduated from Job Corp with a culinary degree in Dallas, TX.
Joe worked for Old Dominion, and Port of Houston.
He loved the Lord, and united with Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Victor Lightfoot, where he played bass guitar.
Joe loved his girls, family, guitar, music, weather, and the transportation industry! He loved the fact that his sisters followed in his footsteps in the CDL industry!
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Joseph Bob, and brothers Elijah Ralston Bob, and Nathaniel Powell Bob.
He leaves to cherish the many memories of his life with his mother Ina Ray Bob of Humble, Texas, daughters JeRea Gauthier (Marcia) of Rosharon, TX, Destynee Lyons (Tasha) of Orange, TX, Breeze R. Lyons, Skyy R. Lyons, and Raine R. Lyons (Valencia) of Humble, TX; bonus daughters Dashawna Scott, Naisha Scott, and Brittaney James (Regina) of Houston, TX, brother, Joseph Sariah of (Mississippi), sisters, Robbie (Bryan) Seals of Nederland, TX, Rachel Bob of Humble, TX, Annie (Tony) Washington of Baytown, Mary Bob, and Doris McCloud of Pasadena TX, Jenny (Henry) Price, and Shirley Bob of Beaumont. Two grandsons Dominick Lyons, and Gregory Gera Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends whom he loved dearly.
