Jasmine L. Hughey 29, of Baytown, TX; passed Jan. 01, 2021.

Services will be held Saturday, Jan 09, 2021 at Fellowship Community Baptist Church 1700 Danubina St. Baytown, TX 77520.  Visitation will begin at 9AM until Funeral at 11AM. Interment will be held in St. Martin Deporres Catholic Cemetery FM1492 Crosby, TX.

Jasmine was born on May 27, 1991 to the parents of LaShonda Strange and Claude Jackson III in Houston, Texas. Jasmine was raised in Barrett Station; she loved the Lord. She carried her Bible with her on a daily basis and referred to it as “Jesus in my purse”. Jasmine was a strong woman who had four beautiful children, Chase, Miyah, Chiyna and Adi’Anna.

Jasmine made a huge impact on many lives and was truly loved by many. She carried Jesus with her everywhere she went. Her children were her world, and they brought a joy to her that was indescribable. Jasmine was such a strong individual who knew how to survive. She was the type of woman that no matter what life threw at her, she would never let it keep her down. She knew how to get back up and keep going. Jasmine wanted nothing more than to have the best life had to offer, now she has the best Heaven has to offer and for that, we know she’s smiling down and rejoicing.

Jasmine was preceded in death by her Father; Claude Jackson III, Grandmother; Lee Henderson, Grandparents; Charles and Rachel Mae Guidry.

She leaves to cherish in her memory; four children; Chase, Miyah, Chiyna and Adi’Anna, Parents; LaShonda and Wayne Strange, and James Hughey Jr. Grandparents; Anna and Melvin Morrow and Claude Jackson Jr.; Siblings; Jamie and James III Hughey, Chadwick Elmore Jr., Dominique, Santana and Niivah Jackson, Waynashia and Waynatria Strange, Kimone (Michael) Matthews, Chris Mingo, Jayla and Jayden Hughey, Aunts; Melvishia Morrow (Kevin), Dawn (Cory) Blueitt, Alicia Matthews, Stephanie Jackson and Victoria (Everett) Barrett, Uncles: Robert Cooper and David Cooper, Melvin Jr. (Rotisha) Morrow; Andre Jackson, Steven (Jennifer)Jackson and Jonathan Mathis, Nephews; JaQuae’ III and Jayceon Hudson, Iman’ Elmore, Niece; Promyse Holloway, Special Aunt; Jessica Guidry, Special Cousins; Brice Craft & Ebony Hawkins and a host of family members and friends.
