Ida Speights

Ida Speights 82, passed away on November 20, 2021 at her resident in Hankamer TX.

Services are Saturday, Dec. 04, 2021 at Proctor’s Mortuary 518 Miller St. Anahuac, TX. Visitation will begin at 10AM until Funeral at 11AM. Interment will be in Richardson Cemetery Hankamer, TX.

Ida was born on March 19, 1939 to Joseph and Zelda DuRouen of Liberty TX.

Ida accepted Christ at an early age. She attended Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church. Once she relocated as she transitions her faith from Catholic to Baptist. She was a faithfully member of Sunlight Missionary Church.

She loved her flower beds, and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and church family. She was the last remaining Daughter of Joseph and Zelda DeRouen.

Ida was preceded in death by her husband Jeffery Paul Speights and her two sons Joseph Chargois and Walter Chargois and one daughter Tamey King. Also, Her mother and father and sisters and brothers.

She is survived by her daughter Zelda Chargois and son Marshall Chargois of Liberty TX. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews
