Gale Eugene Maxson Jr. 50, passed away on Monday, March 7th, 2022.
Services will be held on Saturday, Mar. 26, 2022, at Maxson Memorial COGIC 7920 N. Major Dr. Beaumont, Texas. Visitation will begin at 11AM until funeral at 1PM. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemtery Beaumont, TX.
Gale Eugene Maxson Jr., a native of Beaumont, TX was born to the late Gale Maxson Sr. and Marva Maxson on November 17, 1971. He received Christ at an early age under the leadership of Maxson Memorial Church of God in Christ founder, Elder Walter Maxson. Gale Jr. attended his years of schooling through BISD and became a graduate of Westbrook High School Class of 1990.
Gale Jr. was a standout figure in the community as a volunteer and proud sponsor of the youth as a basketball and football coach and team dad. He worked as an umpire for the city of Beaumont Softball Organization and as a referee for school organizational sports. Gale became the founder of Max Up Entertainment in 2021 where he promoted local artists such as King Zaa Zii and Mo Grind Complex record label. Additionally, Gale secured the safety of others at venues, events, and other functions around the Golden Triangle.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Sidney Provo, Elexter Maxson, Marveline Guillory, and Cefus Guillory, and his younger brothers, Greg Maxson and Jeremy Maxson.
He leaves to cherish his memory 6 children, Gale Eugene Maxson III (Amber), Dorian Maxson (Raylan), Shaquille Maxson, Collin Maxson, Kuriston Maxson, and Maniyah Maxson; 9 Grandchildren; his “baby sister” Elexter Sontrice Maxson-Davis (Will), Alicia Francois, Shevera Bass (Will), Brandale Maxson (Regina), Brandon Maxson; Uncles Ronnie Guidry (Tasha), and Curtis Guillory; 16 nieces and nephews and his high school sweetheart, Lorraine Nobles and son JaCorian Mosley.
