Frances Janet Phillips 

January 8, 1937 – July 11, 2022

On July 11, 2022, the Lord called home Frances Phillips 85, of Beaumont, TX.

Services are Saturday, Jul. 23, 2022 Proctor’s Mortuary 3520 Washington Blvd Beaumont, TX. Visitation will begin at 11AM until Funeral 12Noon. Interment will be held in Live Oak Cemetery Beaumont, TX.

Frances Janet Phillips was born January 8, 1937, to the late Dock Phillips Sr. and Velma Davis-Phillips in Beaumont, TX. Frances was baptized at Mr. Zion Baptist Church and dedicated her life to Jesus.

Frances graduated from Hebert High School. After graduating, she worked at the Tip Top Cafe and raised her family.

Frances never met a stranger and was known to always have a smile on her face. Some of her favorite things to do were spending time with friends, snapping her fingers to a good song, playing the piano, and writing in her journals.

She was preceded in death by her father Dock Phillips Sr, her mother, Velma Davis-Phillips, her brother Dock Phillips, Jr, and her sister Velma Phillips-Stewart.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, Children: Hannah Bomer (Dwayne), Velma Betz, O’Dell Harmon Sr. (Regena); Grandchildren: Tamicka Phillips, Demetrius Bomer, Mariska Bomer, Myleika Bomer, La’Tisa Fofanah, Lavon Mitchell; Niece: Rowena Phillips; Nephew: Ray Watson (Linda); great niece: Mykaelai Smith; Goddaughters: Camille Steffey and Chamille Lemon, and other relatives and friends she loved dearly and filled her heart with joy
