Ernest Howard Brown 1948 – 2020

Ernest Howard Brown of Beaumont, Texas

January 1, 1948 – August 14, 2020

Ernest Howard Brown was born on January 24th, 1948.  His birth happened on a snowy day in Opelousas, Louisiana which is why he was affection ally known as “SNOW”.

He was born to the late, Ruthie L. Como-Green (Boobie) and adopted by O’Neal and Theresa Brown his Great Uncle and Aunt.

Snow graduated from J.S. Clark High School class of 1966 in Opelousas, and then went on to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army where he served his enlistment and was Honorably Discharged.  Snow was a curious man and, in that curiosity, continued that search for knowledge as he attended Prairie View A&M University.

He lived his life in a continuous search for that very knowledge as we all can hear him reciting the very facts that he obtained along his journey.

Snow was proceed in death by his Mother, Ruthie “Boobie” Green and her husband Lionel “Putter” Green, (Extended Father) Mr. and Mrs. O’Neal Brown (Adoptive parents); Ernest Howard (Biological Father); Funzaa Green (Nephew) and Tripp Segura (Great Nephew).

Leaving in his memory, LeNell Green- Segura (Sister) Lionel Green Jr. (Brother); Dr. James Segura Sr. (Brother in law) and Brenda Morris- Green (Sister in law); Nephews Tony (Tara) and J.C. (Raquel); Aaron Simpson, Ronnie, Orlando, and Michael Morris and nieces; Yolanda Taylor and Concetta Green. Jordan Green and Tristen Segura (Great Nephew and Niece); and a host of first cousins, The Smith’s, Spivey’s, and Howards; and many family and friends.

Ernest lived a full life and he will truly be missed.  He accepted Jesus as his personal savior at an early age so we will find comfort in knowing that he will be resting peacefully in our Master’s arms.
