Erma Lee Speights Johnson entered this world with her beautiful presence on July 24, 1938. She was born to proud and loving parents of Deacon Estus Speights and Emma Mayfield Kirkwood Speights in Hankamer, Texas and was the oldest sibling of five.

Preceding her in death were her beloved parents, brother Denny Speights, her sons Rodney Lee Jr. and Phillip Neal and granddaughter Annia Johnson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband: Rodney Lee Johnson, Sr.; her son: Anthony Desra Johnson, Sr. (Ellen); her sister: Glenda Merl Speights Blue, her brothers: Estus Speights, Jr. and Quedlus Speights; her sister-in-laws; Louise Carrington; Lillian Johnson; Belinda Blue (James); and Geraldine Johnson; her grandchildren, Tanisha Johnson, Anthony Desra Johnson, Jr.; Gabriel Johnson; Tamara Harrell; Eric Neal Johnson, Jordan Matthew Johnson and Zaire Johnson; her great-grandchildren, Jakobey Harrell and Jalicia Lockhart.
