Services will be Nov. 30, 2019 at Oak Grove Baptist Church 3906 Pine St. Beaumont, TX. Visitation will begin at 8AM until Funeral at 10AM. Interment will be in Anthony Cemetery Beaumont, TX.
Deidre was born on June 22, 1965 to the late Delores and James Penn Sr. Deidre attended public schools in Louisiana.
On March 20, 2017, Deidre became an official member of Oak Grove Baptist Church under the Pastoral Leadership of her Pastor/Nephew Rev. Kenneth R. Bean Sr. Deidre was a faithful member with a very serious hunger and pursuit for righteousness. Deidre longed to know more and more of Jesus Christ! She believed and exercised in The Spirit of True Worship! Deidre met and married the absolute love of her life Bro. Johnny Ray Bean. This love story endured over 20 years of marital bliss, test, and trials. On September 29, 2019, Sis. Deidre was baptized in water upon her request as she endured her affliction. Deidre’s most precious gift given to her next to personal salvation was her baby Jania Chopane! The world knew she loved and adored this child. Deidre spent countless hours praying, laughing, and talking to Jania about the importance in obeying The Word of God! Deidre loved all of her family and to each one, they were her favorite! Deidre was a marvelous cook. She loved preparing dishes of specialty and watching the faces of those that would enjoy every bite! Some of these dishes were Gumbo, Ettoufee, smothered pork chops just to name a few. Sis. Deidre would prepare dishes for her entire church family. She knew that whatever she had was to be used for God’s Glory! Most importantly, Sis. Deidre gave her life to Christ during a time at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Deidre was a true soldier for the Lord!
Mrs. Deidre Bean is proceeded in death by her parents Delores and James Penn Sr. Mother in Law Betty Hill, Brother Robert Penn, Sisters Diane Penn, Debra Smith Maynard, And Dawn Patricia Graham.
Left to cherish beautiful memories are her Husband Johnny Ray Bean, Daughters Jania Chopane, Jasmine Chopane, Sons Johnathan Chopane and Joshua “Lucky” Chopane. Sisters Linda Penn, Patricia Bean-Bell, Brother James Penn Jr. Of Compton, California and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
