Curtis Ray Moore

Curtis Ray Moore was born June 7, 1955, to Horace Moore and Ernestine Davis -Moore. He received his education at West Oakland Elementary School, Odom Middle School and he was a graduate of Hebert High School in 1973. Upon graduation from high school, Curtis became employed at Gulf Refinery, now known as Chevron. Curtis worked at the refinery until 1994. Curtis loved his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face and was a giving person with a big heart.
Curtis accepted Christ at an early age at Paradise Baptist Church. In his early adult years, he served as youth counselor, and with Vacation Bible School. Curtis loved working with kids and seeing them happy.
In 1982, Curtis was blessed with a child, Stephanie Nicole Moore. She brought a lot of joy to his life. He would take her plenty places including vacations and joy rides around the city.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents Horace Moore and Ernestine Davis-Moore.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories, his daughter, Stephanie Nicole Moore, sisters Doris Young (Jimmie), Vera Guidry, Lisa Ardoin (Jerry), all of Beaumont, Brothers, Charles Moore of Beaumont, Robert Moore and Kevin Moore of Los Angeles, California, Nieces Timika Peterson (Sean), Tiffany Young, De Andreia Moore of Beaumont and Jayla Ardoin of Houston, TX., Nephews Eric Moore, Emmett Young, Jerald Ardoin, all of Beaumont, Quincy Young of Desoto, TX., Derek Scott (Jessica) of Houston, TX., and Quinton Moore of Austin, TX., Aunts Ollie B Harper and Joyce McKeever of Shreveport, LA., Annie C Esters of Karnack, TX., Bernice Boseman of Pomona, CA., and Uncle William Boseman of Pomona, CA., and a host of other loving relatives and friends he loved dearly.
