Christine Marie Rollins

Christine Marie Rollins 59, of Liberty, TX; departed this life for her heavenly home on November 24, 2019.

A Memorial Services will be held 11AM, Dec. 07, 2019 at Mt. Rose Missionary Baptist Church 808 Washington St. Liberty, TX.

On December 25, 1959, the late Emanuel Rollins, Jr. and Rosie Lee Rollins celebrated the birth of their youngest child of twelve, Christine Maire Rollins.

Christine accepted Christ at an early age at Olive Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Hardin, Texas and later joined Mt. Rose Missionary Baptist Church in Liberty, Texas. Her love for family and friends was unconditional. She was a free spirited person whom often showed her love for the San Francisco 49ers and the Houston Rockets. A strong willed person who brighten the room with her smile and personality.

Christine attended public school in Hardin and graduated Class of 1978 from Hardin High. After completing her education, she became an employee of Hardin ISD and Felica Rice Dryer. She found her passion in the mid 1980’s as a personal caregiver, where she shared her love, compassion, and unselfishness for family and others.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, sisters: Katherine Dugat and Mary Jenkins, brothers: Anthony “AC” Rollins and Joel Rollins, Sr.

To cherish her memories, Christine leaves behind her daughter: LaSonthia Sandles; grandson: Marcus Sandals, granddaughter: Taylor Sandals. Brothers: Limmie Rollins, Grover Rollins (Joycelyn), Ernie Rollins (Jackie), Aaron Rollins, Phillip Rollins. Sisters, Jeanette Morris, Kathy Francis (Thomas). A very special friend, Karen Trahan and a host of other friends and relatives.
