Carolyn Plair-Harris of Grapeland, Texas
September 11, 1931 – May 1, 2020
Carolyn Plair- Harris was born September 11, 1931, Grapeland, Texas to the late Reverend Willie R. Plair and Ella Plair.
Our mother excepted GOD in her life and was baptized at a very early age.
She began her spiritual journey at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church under leadership of Reverend Peter Robinson until his death. Carolyn new and final church home was Mount Ariat Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Brown for many years until her health began to fail. She served as the church secretary, treasurer and active member in the church choir.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband Enos Harris; her parents Rev. Willie Plair and Ella Plair; her two brothers Ben Plair, and James Riley Plair, her three sisters Earnestine Jones, Willie Mae Marshall, Elsie Lee Luke; her son Milford Willie Threadgill and grand-daughter Kimberly A. Threadgill.
Carolyn, is survived by three daughters all of Houston, Texas, Betty Sue Johnson, Loretta Lynn Threadgill, Francine Threadgill ; Ambree Blake (like a daughter she loved and cared for dearly) Five grand-children all of Houston, Texas; Nathan L. Threadgill, Kedrick D. Johnson, Shinelle Threadgill, Octavia J. Taulton and, Kristal D. Williams; One brother Houston, Texas, Bobby Plair (Cathy).
And a host of great grand-children, great-great grand-children, nieces, nephews and friends.
