Barry Earl “Bear” Martin

His Story of Life

Barry Earl Martin, also known as Bear, was born on February 17,1971 to proud parent Alma Lois Edwards Mallett in Houston, Tx.

He received his high school education from (insert School here).

He was employed as a welder for most of his career at Dragon Products and in his leisure time he loved helping people. He influenced so many lives by just being firm yet charismatic. He was the best granddad of his grandchildren that adore him so much. They grilled frequently, enjoyed game nights, and loved to dress in pajamas on holidays such as Christmas as a family. He enjoyed R and B, country, and gospel music. He loved hunting, fishing, and watching Law of Order with his wonderful wife. He loved his wife Tara Martin and spoiled her rotten every chance he got. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Turkey Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He departed his earthly life on September 4, 2021.

Barry is proceeded in death by his grandparents, his father, father in law, and his aunt. Barry Survives his wife Tara Martin; his mother Alma Mallet; his daughter Brittany Martin; His sons Marquis Martin (Casey), Aaron Cook (Kacie), Dez’man Cook (Robyn); grandchildren Emma, Keilan, Kadence, Keirstyn; Sister in Law Jewel Lynn Carrier(Roy); Nephew Chris Carrier; Niece Reye’ Carrier; goddaughter Debra.
