Andrea Wale Proctor 64, of Harvey, LA; passed away to glory on Jan. 18, 2021.

Services will be Jan. 30, 2021 at MK Dixon Funeral Home 211 Main St. Baldwin La. Visitation will begin at 9AM until Funeral at 10AM. Internment will be in Sorrel Cemetery Sorrel, La.

Andrea Wale Proctor, affectionately known as “Man Man” was a native of Franklin, La and a resident of Jefferson Parish in New Orleans,La.

Andrea was born November 30,1956 to the late William Joe Proctor and Rebecca Richard Proctor. Andrea Proctor began his Christian life early at St. Joseph Baptist Church under Rev, A. Wiggins. He went to Franklin Sr. High School and proceeded into the U.S. Army. He was a honorable discharged disabled veteran. Through the years that followed, he attended First United Pentecostal Church under leadership of Bishop Andrew Hebert and First Church of God in Christ under leadership of Bishop James W Proctor. During this time, he developed skills of cooking, especially frying. He was always happy, smiling to all that encountered him.

Andrea was inspired by his brother and confidant, Deacon Michael Proctor, a member of Greater Mt. Calvary International under the leadership of Apostle Terry Gullage Sr. He served as an usher in this ministry, well-liked by everyone. Later on he decided to live on his own despite his disabilities and health issues, He passed away to glory on January 18,2021.

Andrea was preceded in death by his parents: William Joe proctor Sr and Rebecca Richard Proctor, his maternal grandparents: William Richard Sr and Almeta Richard, his paternal grandparents Walter T Proctor and Nancy Francis Proctor, brothers: William Joe Proctor Jr, Darryl Proctor, and Richard Eric Proctor. Sisters: Sheila Faye Proctor, Betty Jo Proctor Joe, and Lavoris Regina Proctor. One Niece: Faith Rebecca Proctor, Two nephews: Glen Dale Nora II and William Rochester Druilhet Jr. One brother-in-law: John Allen Jones Sr.

He leaves to mourn his loving sisters: Jennifer P Smith of Los Angeles, Ca., Rock Tracy Proctor Jones of Franklin, La; Frankie Mae Druilhet (Rev William Sr) of Lafayette, La. Nancy Almeta Hawk (Timothy) of Baton Rouge, La; Shebaniah K, Morris (Batiste) of Broussard, La. Diane Broussard of Franklin, La. His brothers: Deacon Michael L. Proctor Sr. (Cheryl) of Gautier, Ms, Chris Ernest Proctor of Vancouver, Wa., Stephen Ross Proctor of Jeanerette, La, Jeremiah Proctor of Spokane, Wa., Jacobia N. Proctor of Jeanerette, La, and Johnerson Fritzgerald Proctor of Beaumont, TX. A loving and supportive host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephew, Cousins, Extended Family and Friends.
